Closing Prayer

It is my prayer that you continue to draw near to Him. I pray that you would put your complete trust in Him. I pray that you would learn from our mistakes and avoid the pitfalls that your mother and I have already encountered.  I pray that you would allow your mother and me to continue to speak into your life. We want nothing but the best for you and will always love you unconditionally.  I pray that at each fork in the road that you would always seek God.  I pray that anytime you feel you have received special revelation that you would turn to the Word to confirm the revelation you have received. I pray that you keep a watchful eye for those who would seek to derail you from achieving all that he has in store for you.  You are remarkably gifted and unfortunately people will be jealous of your gifts. I pray that you would be able to discern who those people are and protect yourself accordingly.  It is my prayer that you recognize your infinite worth as the daughter of the highest King.  You were created in His image and it is your purpose to bring Him the glory He deserves.  I pray that you spend your life bringing God glory.  Should you decide to marry, I pray that in choosing a mate you would adhere to biblical standards and that you would also seek the counsel of your parents.  Should you become a mother, I pray that you would devote a substantial portion of your life teaching your children the love of Christ. I pray that you would train them up in the way that they should go so that they will not depart. I pray that you would teach them that the most important thing they can do is to bring God glory.  I pray that you use your immense talent to change the world, to impact many, to serve unconditionally, to give without expectation, and to love the things that God loves.  I pray that you live each day with purpose, knowing each day is a blessing and also an opportunity to make a difference.  It is my prayer that your mother and I did as much as we possibly could to help you develop your gifts so that you would be ready to use them when the Lord calls you to do so.  It is my prayer that your sisters follow your example and seek Him first.  It is my prayer that you live a long and fulfilling life without regret knowing that you gave everything to Him and finish the race.
