As the culture puts more and more pressure on the church we find that those of weak faith want to change the definition of things. Rather than take a stand, it’s easier to redefine God’s word to make it less confrontational with the culture. The problem with that is that changing the words causes the words to lose their truth – in essence they are exchanging the truth for a lie (Rom. 1:25).
